The Whatcom Harvest Dinner will be in its 9th year in 2010. This wildly
successful community event has drawn sold out crowds each year and attendance has grown to more than 400 people.
In past years the Harvest Dinner has been held at The Majestic and at
the Village Green in Fairhaven, as well as the Depot Market Square in downtown Bellingham.
Much of the early energy and passion for the event was centered around the
hard work of Jessica and Mateo Gillis of Ciao Thyme Catering.
In 2010 the event will step out a bit and call upon a number of local
caterers and restaurateurs to create a dynamic collaboration of talent and
styles.
