The Whatcom Harvest Dinner could not happen without a dedicated team of volunteers. In 2010 we had a bustling team of nearly 40 volunteers in the following roles:

PRE-EVENT FOOD PREP (food handlers card required)
SET UP
TAKE DOWN
GREETER/TICKET-TAKER
SHUTTLE DRIVER
CAR PARKER
FOOD ASSEMBLER
DISHWASHER
BARTENDER (Class-12 liquor serving license required)
BARTENDING ASSISTANT
FIRE PIT BOSS
BUFFET ATTENDANT
SERVER/BUSSER

Event volunteers enjoy the camaraderie of a team effort, and for a four hour shift also eat the same delicious meal as paying dinner guests.
